We Are Not The Same

It's a disgrace and a delusional state of mind how far right religious extremists are trying this guy in a way that is so far removed from who he truly was. A Bigoted Racist!

The delusion of who CK was by the right is beyond appalling. So many of us understand exactly who he was and exactly what he stood for, the things he said and the Racist comments he repeated over and over. It's easily proven and undeniable, the dude made a lot of content over a long period of time. No one is taking his words out of context. That is just a white supremacist's way of defending it. So, when you hear or see someone utter the words "out of context" please keep in mind the beliefs of the person who is saying that.

They are trying to make a Racist White Christian Evangelical a Martyr. Creating ridiculous posts like the one I am sharing. We cannot be silent and ignore the attempted whitewashing of our country that is taking place with those on the right. That is what Charlie was attempting to do. This meme is offensive in so many ways. And it just proves the disconnect with reality that the so many have right now.

They are saying no one should be shot. NO SHIT! Democrats have been saying that for years. Democrats have attempted to pass gun reform laws for years, and every time it is the Republicans who block such legislation.

In fact, with the passing of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in September of 1994 under President Clinton. That prohibited the manufacturing and sales of 19 specific types of semi-automatic firearms. Studies later showed that mass shooting fatalities decreased nearly 70% during the 10 period of the ban. Although shootings still occurred, they were far less frequent, and casualties significantly dropped. GUN REFORM LAWS WORK. PERIOD! Data proves and supports it. So, you might ask, what happened to the ban? Well as soon as republicans gained enough control to remove the ban, they did exactly that.

They are saying, "He had a wife and kids" NO SHIT! You don't think we know that? You don't think we know about those who are affected by shootings such as this? We are far more aware of this that what any of the republicans are. Far more! This wasn't a concern of theirs when Democratic Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband were gunned down while sleeping by a right-wing extremist, a self-proclaimed christian, might I add, who was in possession of a manifesto that contained the names of 35 other Democrats that he planned to expel his rage upon. And was actually successful at doing just that when earlier he had shot Democrat John Hoffman and his wife in their home. There was no outrage or concerns shown from republicans about that political violence, there was no flags ordered to be flown at half-staff, they were crickets when that tragedy occurred, just like they are on most occasions. And why is that? Because it was Democrats who fell victim. Not one of their own.

A fact that many people may not know. Since Columbine, over 398,000 children have experienced gun violence during a school shooting. Either by way of falling victim or witnessing their classmates being obliterated by the weapons being used. Young children who are experiencing the blood spatter, brain matter, and skin tissue from their classmates being projected onto their bodies while they shutter in complete terror to the events that they are in the moment of. Children whose parents only way of identifying them is from the shoes they were wearing or by providing DNA in order to properly identify who they are.

So please, save me your "he had kids" BS!

So many were shocked to see the real time result of what happened to Charlie, a grown man, being shot by a rifle one time from a very long distance. Now, imagine if you will, what the results would be on the body of a 6-year-old receiving multiple shots from a high-powered rifle from close range.

We Are Not The Same..

Remember this my republican counterparts. It is Democrats who speak nonstop about gun reform laws every single time a senseless shooting takes place in our Country. We hear the silence that comes from you. And now that one of your beloved has been taken down by a white boy in an almost completely white state, where religion and whiteness reign supreme. You all of a sudden have issues? And what is your solution? Immediately, I mean immediately, you politicized it and blamed the left, the trans and LGBTQ community and vowed revenge on us "lunatic radical leftists" Yet at this time the information and evidence continue to change on who Tyler Robinson was and his motives behind what he did. Yet your beliefs and narratives have not. The hate that came instantaneously from the right is undeniable and can easily be proven just like the words of your beloved Charlie and the meaning behind what he said and what he meant when he spoke his words.

We Are Not The Same..

We come from two different places when it comes to the senseless shooting of innocent victims in this Country. No one deserves to be shot! NO ONE! I don't care who they are, their political views, the color of their skin, their personal beliefs or lifestyle NO ONE! This type of violence needs to be squashed PERIOD! 70% of Americans want some form of gun reform laws in this country. I am sure that number will rise after this event. Yet 2nd Amendment republican extremists will not waiver in their belief in this Constitutional Amendment. Yet ask them to provide you the definition of three other Amendments contained in Our Constitution. Most are incapable of doing so...

Just like many Americans right now, I am outraged by the actions from extremists across the nation and within our own communities, holding vigils, moments of silence and lowering of our flag to honor the life of a man whose complete existence and success was mired in bigotry and hate. And because so many of us are speaking out against what is occurring, we are villainized and labeled divisive, hateful and disrespectful. So be it. I'm sure you are the same people that celebrate and believe in this meme that I am sharing posted by another hateful bigot.

So, no surprise. Charlie was not a good man. No matter what you say or do. But you have the right to free speech in this country and to speak your words and to share your thoughts.

Just as I have that same freedom. Only now, my freedom to speak and share my thoughts on who Charlie was may bring harm my way. Because those hateful radical lunatics on the right who call themselves christians, who call themselves patriots, who claim to be defenders of the constitution want to strip me of my 1st Amendment rights and bring harm to me and others like me for exercising our protected freedom of free speech. Just because we speak out against bigotry and hate.
