Hometown Hypocrisy
I sat at your table my intentions were good. I had many things to say, I wanted my voice to be heard.
I love my community, the town I call home. But many of us Democrats feel we are standing alone.
We have become meek and mild, quiet and tame. You've lead us to the point we have no voice in the game.
You found a way to silence me, and make me go away. Standing with those, that you had no good things to say.
I kept all the words and all the stories you shared. Not knowing your hypocrisy, acting as if you cared.
Let this be known to you and all of the others. I now stand independently with many sisters and brothers.
My voice is now stronger and much deeper in desire. My goals, my message, my convictions, all I still aspire.
You poked at the cage, you muzzled my voice. You woke up the Bear, now you leave me no choice.
I will soon be exposing my plans, and the path I will take. I'll show you how it's done and the leadership it takes.
